To the camel said the tree,
"Can you spare a drink for me?
I am parched down to the roots and I am dying."
Said the camel to the tree,
"I need all my drink for me!
For the sun is hot and I am fairly frying."

Then the tree he shook his leaves,
And he said with mighty grief,
"Why cannot you give a dying tree a hand?
Though I stand so near this beach,
Still my roots they cannot reach,
And all I can devour is the sand."

"Save your water- shut your trap!"
Cried the camel with a snap,
"For both of us, do stop your idle chatter.
In your shade I make my bed,
Whether you be live or dead,
And I'd almost say preferably the latter."

The Banjo world is full of potential for twisted little children's tales.

Specter~ I am a man of many words.... I just choose not to use them.

Specter~ The hardest burden to bear is loneliness, because there's no one to help you carry it.

Everybody did. Which is why all the fans were sad he wasn't in Nuts & Bolts. Only an annoying vehicle effigy ;_;

So Dr. Seuss writes stuff based on 10-year-old games? XD

It IS very Seuss-like. Which makes it good. :3

I could make it so. I want to write and illustrate children's books some day, perhaps rhyming, and I really enjoy this kind of thing... pairing illustrations with a little story or poem. I could get practice now! Although in the future I don't plan to scar children with scary thoughts of talking trees wasting away helplessly while indifferent camels look on.

Plus, I've decided that while I'm doing fanart I might as well do something special with each piece...

Thanks! He was a genius, of course. This would ALMOST be Seuss-like, but it lacks the nonsense words. If only I had thrown "Jinjo" in there!

Love it! You wrote the poem? This is great! I will print out a copy of it :D

Thank you very much! It took me like five minutes to write... which makes me think I should do this more often O_o

Heh, that's a pure and good goal for life I think. :)

One for Clanker would be good potential I think.
